Remodel of Old Town Residence - Park City, Utah

This project began as a relatively simple remodel of a couple of rooms of the home and turned into a complete gutting of the original house with all new finishes, cabinets, plumbing fixtures, appliances, mechanical systems and landscaping/hardscaping. Ideally situated just steps away from downtown Park City and the slopes of Park City Mountain Resort, the Owner wanted this to be place for entertaining his visiting family and guests. A portion of the third floor roof was removed and replaced with a roof deck and hot tub overlooking downtown Park City and the surrounding mountains. In addition the Garage was renovated into a Family Room with a Bar adjacent to the roof deck and a new Powder Room. As a part of this, one of the garage doors was removed and replaced with a large folding door opening up to the front yard terrace. The Living Room space, which was originally separated from the Dining Room and Kitchen by an interior gas fireplace, was opened up so it could be one large Great Room with a new wood burning fireplace on the exterior wall. The exterior spaces were completely redone with new stone terraces, landscaped planting beds, a fire pit, water feature and privacy fencing.
